Well I hope all the Mk1 Golfs are now safely home and tucked up in their sheds and garages after our Clare Weekend. What a trip. A blast from start to finish. Some 500 miles covered with great scenery, roads, chat, delicious food and drink.
Special thanks to all the owners who came and participated at various points over the weekend, VW in Ennis for great hospitality, our friends in the Cliffs of Moher hotel, Adrian for his drone and photography work not to mention his convoy skills!, Lios Dearg Show in Belmont Co Offaly and of course the weather too – It played its part.
All in all it was a great Mk1 golf weekend. Our 6th. Roll on the 2019 one. Cheers Hugh.
